RIP Drew Miller

On Oct. 1st 2012, The Stern Superfans put on a roast of me at La Flaca in NYC, we did it to raise money for SFS member Drew Miller who was battling ALS.  We raised one thousand five hundred dollars for Drew, to help him with his medical bills.  It was a great night of fun and friends and all for a great cause.   On February 11, 2013 Drew passed away from his battle with ALS.  Drew was a fighter and a superfan till the end, I last talked to Drew on FB on Saturday Feb. 9th and he said he had a very rough week, and was settling in to watch some Howard TV.   It’s amazing that we all come from different places and with different problems, but we can all come together and laugh together with the Stern Show.  Rest in peace Drew, here are some videos from the Mooski roast and a video at the end all about Drew.  We say it we mean it SFS 4 life…

I had the pleasure of speaking with Drew over email many times. ALS has hurt my family – my mother in law perished very quickly from it in 2001 – and Drew and I bonded over that experience.

It gave me so much joy to know he got so much happiness out of the Howard Stern Show and that I contributed to that happiness in the smallest of ways.

Our family’s thoughts, prayers and well wishes are with Drew’s family.

    Drew, we speak your name.
