Mariann From Brooklyn Says…..

Howard addresses the artie situation and I still hear people complaining they are never satisfied. If you are a true fan and know the nine year history of the good and bad with Artie, you would know that Howard could not possibly with a clear conscience have Artie back in studio. Would any of you risk the unknown with a situation like that?Do you remember when a girl wrote that she was a fan and howard brought her in to meet  Artie and he responded with You aint my Bro ,and you only did it for the air!!! Do you really think that Artie going back into studio would help him? What do some of you want? I dont get it, I just dont get it…….

Artie was great on Letterman! He doesn’t need Howard any more anyway. So proud of you, Artie and love you so much. I have never stopped thinking about you and so happy you are well again!

  2. Like all families, when there’s a break up, the kids wish “Mom and Dad” were back together. I can’t imagine anyone wanting to really sacrifice Artie’s mental health and/or recovery for on air shenanigans. I think we all just miss the good times, while filing away the really dark times. Peace N Luv, Mariann and thanks for always making us think.

Everybody has an opinion on the “Artie Situation”, and you know what they say about opinions??? LOL… I, like every other true fan of the show would LOVE to know what’s going on with that whole thing too! But unfortunately I am not privy to that information, nor should I be! Nor should any of us! This is something between them, and we should just respect their privacy and trust that there is a damn good reason for the silence! Being a fan of Howard since the days of NBC, and knowing the man that he is, I’m sure there IS a good reason, and I’m also sure that he wishes only the best for Artie and his family, as do I…as should all of us.

I am glad Howard finally addressed. As fans Artie good, bad or otherwise was a part of the show. I am satisfied..and I don’t blame Howard one bit for not putting Artie on as a guest for fear of any set backs as he said! I for one am satisfied. All we wanted was for Howard to acknowledge the fact that Artie was on Letterman.
